Nose cones have "U" type (Doriot) chucks that will take universal attachments, HP burs, mandrels, and disposable prophy angles. With the blue nose cone the 20K rpm motor allows you to use the system for regular polishing, equilibrating, decay removal and trimming. The green reduction nose cone is very useful for prophy, setting pins, endo, and other slow speed operations. The green nose will gear down the 20K rpm motor to 5,000 rpm with no loss of torque. The system is quiet, powerful, comfortable to hold and very reliable.

MTI has been manufacturing this airmotor system since the early 80's. We have sold thousands of these systems and we still see many in for refurbishment that were sold in the 1990's. It is not unusual to see a LYNX airmotor with a 1994 serial number still running. They are that good.

Even though the combination special comes with 2 nose cones you can also use the airmotor with dedicated attachments and an array of contra angle heads. The motor and system conform to the "E" motor standard so you can use many attachments for other brands on your LYNX motor.

"E" motor standard is compatable with NSK, W&H, KaVo, MicroMega, and others (not Star or Midwest which have their own system).
