Green base TM5 is a Gear Reduced Airmotor factory set for 5,000 rpm at 45 psi. This is a fantastic handpiece for polishing, setting pins, very slow decay removal, and for prophy. Gear reduction insures that even with lower speed ther is no reduction in torque. You can't stall it.

MTI has been manufacturing this airmotor since 1980. We have sold thousands of these and we still see many in for refurbishment that were sold in the 1990's. It is not unusual to see a LYNX airmotor with a 1994 serial number still running. They are that good.

The LYNX airmotor is know for its quiet powerful operation. You can run this motor at 45 psi or 50 psi or even 60 psi. It can take it and it will give you all the power you need in the operatory or in the lab. Universal chuck uses HP and Doriot (U-Type) parts.
